Joining the Washington County Historical Society in Hagerstown, Maryland is always a good idea. For one thing, they have a great collection of historical photos of the Antietam Battlefield. If that were not enough, membership gets you a monthly newsletter that, as of late, has featured articles by our very own battlefield guide, Jeff Driscoll.
